New features: Change your site name and Opt-in to comment notifications

We've rolled out a couple new features that we hope you'll enjoy.

First is changing your address. Just hit Edit Site and you'll see the rest. Keep in mind you'll lose your current site name so if you've been using your site for a while, you might not want to do this.

Second is being able to opt-in/opt-out of email comment notifications. Later, if you get sick of receiving them, you can click "Don't notify me" on the same post page next to the comment you created.

Keep on postin', friends...

Custom site names! A favicon! An upgraded comment system!

The My Accounts page has been updated with a few new features -- you can now have a custom personalized site name instead of "your_username's posterous". In addition, you can add a subhead that will appear directly under your site name too.

We also added a posterous favicon, which you should be seeing in your browser bar right now. Isn't it cute?

Finally, you'll notice some improvements to the comment system. We support some HTML in comments now, and properly take care to make all links in comments have the "rel=nofollow" tag. Comment spammers, stay away!

Rest assured we're in the process of another major redesign that will help keep the Posterous UI clean and make it easier to get to things. We're brewing up some good stuff, but keep your feedback pouring in. Thanks for your support.

What's new? Subdomains!

Your new posterous will now show up at [[yourusername]].posterous.com. All old URLs will be forwarded. Is this awesome? Answer: Yes.

This of course required some pretty big changes to how we do routing, so let me know if there are any particular things that look weird or are broken now.
