Posterous Spotlight: We Sing Your Tweets
Who are you guys? Kevyn Smith and Jeremy Johnson from We Sing Your Tweets. We live in Seattle and have been singing tweets for 6 months, almost 7.
Why did you start singing other people's tweets? We wanted to do something fun and social with music. At first we were just going to write our own 140 character songs, but then thought it would be more fun and more challenging to sing other people’s tweets. It keeps the tweet as a sound wave traveling forever around the globe.
What equipment do you use? We record our movies on an iMac with Photo Booth and then edit them in After Effects. High tech stuff going on. We are working on our lighting situation.Give us some of your favorites.Kevyn: @Jaime_King, @S_SylvesterGLEE and @LanceBass
Jeremy: @DalaiLama, @yokoono and @katiacadet. And maybe @Jackalopekid. If you could be an animal, what would you be?
Kevyn: I would be a cross between a monkey and a unicorn because they are both awesome. Maybe just a monkey with a horn so he could spear bananas.
Jeremy: Lowland gorilla, preferably silverback. Best Posterous site to which you'd like to introduce others?
It’s a tie between Jennilly24 and popchips
