Posterous Integrates Facebook Like Buttons

Foo1

We were really psyched to be one of the first developers to get a sneak-peek at Facebook's new OpenGraph API and we're happy to announce that we're rolling out Facebook Like buttons on all of our standard themes today. This gives your readers a new way to interact with your blog and share it with their friends easily and quickly. This will help you boost your readership and give you a great way to see what people like about your blog.

For theme designers, this also gives you an easy way to experiment and play with socially-aware content delivered from Facebook. All you have to do is drop a "like" tag anywhere into your theme -- we'll take care of the rest. Just make sure the 'href' attribute is set to whatever page you want to "like." Play around with these options:

Button Count layout

 <fb:like href="{Permalink}" layout="button_count"></fb:like>

Button_count
Standard layout
 <fb:like href="{Permalink}" layout="standard"></fb:like>
Show_faces_true
Standard layout without faces
 <fb:like href="{Permalink}" layout="standard" show_faces="false"></fb:like>
Show_faces_false
