New on Posterous: User Profiles

As of 6AM EST this morning, we've just introducted new user profiles and profile pictures to Posterous! This should help people find more blogs to read and follow in the system. You can and should add a profile photo or avatar to your blog to replace the boring question mark. This is just the first in a long list of features we will be rolling out in coming weeks.

Privacy is important to us when introducing new features like this. We hide your full name from public view and only show it to registered users. We also will NEVER show your email address on our profile pages, and we're actively looking for ways to reduce spam and increase privacy while still keeping posterous an open community.
