New on Posterous: RSS feeds for your subscriptions

By popular demand, we've added RSS feeds for your subscriptions list. If you don't know what an RSS feed is, read this. So now, when the posterous blogs you subscribe to get updated, you can automatically see new posts in the RSS feed reader of your choice.

We've also added a new way to see more posterous blogs, just by clicking "More recommended blogs".

There are a few more hidden features we'll be refining and talking more about in the next few days. Thanks for using posterous!

I've been reading updates in Google Reader almost since I started subscribing. Is this something different?

@Linda -- Before, you had to add each individual RSS feed to google reader individually. Now, you can use the in-posterous feature of "Subscribing", and then just get one RSS feed for all your posterous subscriptions. This feature makes reading posterous blogs more convenient if you have a lot of people you're following. (Like, me I have 3000+ ;-) )

It would be great if I could abandon my Google Reader and subscribe my RSS feeds TO my posterous. That would allow me to read blogs from other services alongside with blogs from people one posterous. That would be great, I guess!

I have just subcribed to my own Posterous feed by searching for my <username> and then 'subscribing' to my user. My posts now show up in my RSS feed!

Sounds silly? Say you are a media company with multiple users contributing content from the same email account - you can now get an RSS feed of everything being said without actually being on Posterous. Could also be great for instantly creating your daily newsletter content.
