Early this morning we launched the first version of our search and browse functionality. You asked for this, and we've listened. You'll be able to see random selected posts from the past day, as well as search for any keyword / topic or user in our system.

Both new features seem to work very smoothly, which is really good. Sometime it might be nice to have an RSS feed on the search results.
2 great new features and in such a short period of time. I applaud Garry and Sachin for the 25 hours days they put into this great site. Keep it up guys! You can always rest when you die, I guess! Just make sure that doesn't happen anytime soon! Cheers!

@Andy, great idea re: RSS feeds. It's on my todo to add RSS feeds for both My Subscriptions and for searches.

Hi, guys, just started with Posterous to check the possibilities to be a backchannel in a conference. It looks great, but I really miss the tagging feature, which is a big issue to bloggers that can be tracked in technorati. This feature would allow us to follow a unique tag created specifically to the conference, meaning that everybody who has a posterous blog and use the tag, we can aggregate in technorati. Is it a possibility soon?
I've been discussing it in my blog Explorations.
BTW, just wanted to add that the fact that posterous knows to take a link to a graphic and embed it as a graphic is very cool.
Will there be the ability to change templates and organize blog posts by months on the right hand side?
can we have a link to add ourselves to the comment emailing thread? There's no way to follow the comment if you forgot to check the "Email me" box
Good idea. A "follow comments" feature could be useful.
