What if someone posts a photo of theirs that is copyright protected and doesn't want anyone downloading it?

We're working on controls around whether the download link is shown. This goes for both mp3's and photos-- it's important that you'll be able to control who can download what files.

Agree, that would be an important feature - but glad you thought of it.

Now *that's* something we can all use. It's probably the most-hated feature on most every photo site!

Got a feature request : could we have an RSS-button on the 'my subscriptions" page ?

Gary - if you did RSS, wouldn't that allow Friend Feed to capture the posts? That would be a nice thing.

Bill -- we do support RSS for your personal posterous (see the little rss icon next in your sidebar). We're also working on Media RSS support so that it will properly provide metadata for podcasts and photos.
